Storage Bases

This cabinet was developed on one of our very first kitchens, and has been a staple of our base cabinets ever since. We build these into every kitchen we design, and they are loved! For this cabinet, we attach the cabinet door to an 8" bottom drawer. When the drawer is pulled open (no hinges), the contents of the bottom drawer (the entire width and depth of the cabinet) are instantly within reach. We utilize the remaining space with two 6" drawers.

As you can see in the photos, your entire cabinet contents are easily accessible and organized. Take a close look at these pictures, and you will see in use both side mount drawer slides and under-mount drawer slides. Both types work well for this purpose, and it is a budget / preferences decision as to which we use.
