River Veneer

Technology meets old world craftsmanship. 

For this job, the owners were able to pick their own “flitch” of veneer from photos on the web. We then used the ancient art of veneer, practiced by the early Egyptians, with modern techniques to bring this kitchen to life.  Each 1/40” piece of veneer was unfolded from the log, and spread across the cabinetry in order. The result is as visually stunning as it is functional.
