This kitchen was part of a renovation project that included an addition for more kitchen space. The gallery kitchen that was part of the original house plan no longer suited the large groups of family and friends who came to share this Adirondack retreat. The actual addition enclosed a small courtyard off of the kitchen. The window you see over the sink was originally an exterior window. Part of the project was to replace the original window with a cherry window to match the kitchen.

This project represents our fullest extent of "Continuous Grain" in a kitchen. Not only is each door frame a mirror image of the adjacent one, we went so far as to grain match the crown moulding and bottom trim to each cabinet door!
